九月－肯塔基州波本威士忌傳統月

美國肯塔基州(Commonwealth of Kentucky)州長史帝夫畢夏(Steve Beshear)為了表揚波本威士忌(bourbon whiskey)產業，對於該州經濟、旅遊觀光的卓越貢獻，日前特別宣佈，2009年9月份，將是肯塔基州(Commonwealth of Kentucky)的「波本威士忌傳統月(Bourbon Heritage Month)」。

肯塔基州(Commonwealth of Kentucky)州長史帝夫畢夏(Steve Beshear)說：「不論是提供工作、投資、觀光的各項機會，波本威士忌(bourbon whiskey)產業對於肯塔基州(Commonwealth of Kentucky)的整體經濟佔有極為重要的地位，它也為全州的居民帶來多項益處。

波本威士忌(bourbon whiskey)是肯塔基州(Commonwealth of Kentucky)主要出口產品，更是一項讓肯塔基州(Commonwealth of Kentucky)值得驕傲的傳統象徵，廣泛的獲得全世界的喜愛。
