威士忌大賽「Icons of Whisky 2010」

頗受全世界威士忌酒廠、威士忌迷、以及威士忌產業相關專業人士推崇的威士忌大賽「Icons of Whisky 2010」－ 2010年Icons of Whisky大賽，已於2月26日於英國倫敦的「Hurlingham Club」俱樂部舉行頒獎典禮。

儘管比賽過程極為激烈、充滿挑戰，日本的三得利(Suntory)威士忌酒廠仍然在全球眾多參賽的威士忌酒廠中脫穎而出，贏得今年的「Whisky Distiller of the Year Award年度最佳威士忌酒廠」大獎，顯示獲得評審團的高度肯定。

2010年Icons of Whisky大賽的主辦單位，同時也公佈其他的得獎名單如下：

1. Visitor Attraction of the Year 年度最佳威士忌旅遊景點獎 － 美國肯塔基州的Buffalo Trace Distillery威士忌酒廠。

2. Retailer of the Year(Single) 年度最佳威士忌零售酒廠(Single) －日本的Mejiro Tanakaya威士忌酒廠。

3. Retailer of the Year(Multiple) 年度最佳威士忌零售酒廠(Multiple) － 蘇格蘭的Royal Mile Whiskies威士忌酒廠。

4. Retailer of the Year(Online) 年度最佳線上威士忌零售酒廠(Online) － 英格蘭的The Whisky Exchange威士忌酒廠。

5. Brand Innovation of the Year 年度最佳創意品牌獎 －美國的渥福Woodford Reserve威士忌酒廠。

6. Ambassador of the Year 年度最佳品牌大使 － 蘇格蘭高原騎士(Highland Park)威士忌酒廠的蓋瑞托西(Gerry Tosh)。

7. Young Ambassador of the Year 年度最佳品牌青年大使 － 蘇格蘭雲頂(Springbank)威士忌酒廠的彼德柯瑞(Pete Currie)。
