NOTICED; What Was That Wine In 'Disclosure'? By FRANK J. PRIAL
WHEN Demi Moore sets out to seduce Michael Douglas in the hit film "Disclosure," she starts with wine.
"The '91 Pahlmeyer," he exclaims happily. "How did you know about that?"
"I want all the boys under me to be happy," she replies.
Miss Moore plays Mr. Douglas's new boss, who is also his former lover. Years earlier, they had traveled through the California wine country, discovering wines together.
Later in the story, the wine, a Napa Valley chardonnay, plays a central role in the Douglas character's sexual harassment case against the woman played by Miss Moore. The screenwriter, Paul Attanasio, said he had never tried a Pahlmeyer wine but had read that it was rare. "I tried to get some, but there was none to be found," he said, "and that's the device we needed to move the plot ahead."

2005年份的已經沒貨了，可以等2006年份的上市。酒質似乎更上層樓。
... The 2005 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast (1,100 cases) exhibits wonderful tropical fruit notes interwoven with pineapple, buttered citrus, and leesy, brioche-like characteristics. This complex effort is capable of lasting for 7-8 years. Most of the fruit for this cuvee comes from an old Wente clone planted in the Ritchie Vineyard. 92-94 Points
The 2006 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast, all made from old Wente clones, represents about 1,200 cases of sensational Burgundian style Chardonnay with leesy notes of brioche, nectarine, honeysuckle, orange rind, and some pear and pineapple. Beautiful fruit, full body, great acidity, and a textured mouthfeel make this a sensational Chardonnay to drink over the next 5-7 years. 95 Points
