1. E. Guigal --Cote Rote --'La Turque' 1997年: WS:98，RP: 96，ST 92-95
WS:98 Gorgeous, silky red that is thickly textured. Full-bodied, with near flawless balance, it delivers layers of mocha, coffee, ginger, blackberry, and brownie flavors. Focused, pure, fresh, it's a big wine, not showy, but beckoning. (6/ 2001)

RP: 96 The dense purple-colored, profound 1997 Cote Rotie La Turque (5-7% Viognier added to the blend) offers creme de cassis, licorice, and espresso aromas as well as notions of melted asphalt. Compared to La Mouline, it has additional layers as well as structure, sweet tannin, and exhilarating levels of opulence and ripe fruit. Anticipated maturity: now-2018. (4/ 2002)

ST 92-95 Good red-ruby. Perfumed aromas of cassis, violet, lilac and brown spices. Lush and aromatic in the mouth; the combination of a bit more acidity than the Mouline and its mineral and gunflint elements gives this wine noteworthy elegance and firm shape. Tannins are quite fine. (2/ 2001)

Displaying the most color saturation, the dark plum/purple 1997 Barolo Vigna Big is a flavorful, dense effort with plenty of spice box, kirsch, pepper, chocolate, and coffee aromas and flavors. The wine possesses decent acidity, firm tannin, an expansive, concentrated, full-bodied palate, and more noticeable tannin as well as structure. Anticipated maturity: 2002-2018. 3. Podere Rocche dei Manzoni Barolo Vigna Cappella Santo Stefano 1997年 WS: 91,RP: 90
The dark plum-colored 1997 Barolo Vigna Cappella di Santo Stefano offers a gorgeous bouquet of cedar, spice box, maple syrup/brown sugar, and cherries. Sweet, sexy, and seductive, this medium to full-bodied, low acid, glycerin-imbued wine will be accessible upon release, and should drink well for 12-15 years." - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #135 (Jun 2001)

4. Podere Rocche dei Manzoni Barolo Vigna d' La Roul -1997 年，WS:
Obtained with 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the vineyard located at Manzoni Soprani, this wine is named after the huge oak tree in the middle of the estate. It is ruby red in color; it has a rich and persistent perfume, with violet, withered rose and goudron scents. The palate is full bodied with austere tannins. It is doubtless the most vigorous wine of our range.
