還是先跟酷大打個招呼,這篇不是要團購來的,只是跟大家分享一下好酒依然不貴~
這瓶一樣裝給 the whisky fair 的35年老酒,酒廠名稱只被標示"A Speyside Single Malt 1971"
沒錯!它的確是MMA2006的金牌之一,我想明確的知到哪個酒廠所釀的好酒,因此問了站方,
結果回覆的跟我心裡想的是一樣的答案~ Glenfarclas ~
我不太明白為何所有不是OB的Glenfarclas,其酒廠的標示都是以另個名稱做標示呢?
就如同OMC也是給了令人摸不著頭緒的名稱,因為Bible好像沒提到~呵呵呵~真是書呆子
這邊可否再次麻煩請Kingfisher大師為大家來上門初級的課程呢?
且您也是評比這瓶酒的評審之一,還有辦法回憶它的風味嗎?我想買一瓶回來嚐嚐看.....

TWF Single Speyside Malt 35yo 1971/2006 (51,4%, The Whisky Fair, Sherry Butt)
(Name of distillery will not appear on label, 534 Bottles) Yes, I know that 'alphabetically' this entry should be under the 'T' section, but we originally listed this under the name of the distillery. Apparently, we shouldn't use the distillery name. Even so, this is a magnificent dram... Davin (91 points) wrote: 'Big beautiful nose, Hot chocolately body' while Ho-cheng (90 points) wrote: 'Dark chocolate, old, raisin, charming. Lot's apple in palate, finished some lemon feel. Matured very well'. My score of 90 points fits nicely with the majority opinion; I wrote: 'A classic, woody, heavily sherried malt. A suggestion of organics. Sweet, fruity & syrupy on the palate with lots of 'gravitas'. Touch of smoke. Just the sort of profile I adore'.

Tasting Notes: Heavy Oloroso Sherry already on the nose. The palate is then very much the same, offering a dense & creamy body with a mix of resins and dried fruits. The finish is long lingering, sweet & moutchcoating. With a dash of water added the whisky becomes more complex and harmonic without losing the intensity. A liquid dessert and by the way, a quite characteristic example for sherry wood matured malts from this well-known Speyside distillery.

關于格蘭花酒場的獨立裝瓶場酒.標籤上故意不寫.或是以另外的名字標示...我的映像中.那是格蘭花家族和獨立裝瓶廠商之間的協議..
也就是說..格蘭花家族在把酒銷售予獨立裝瓶場時..和獨立裝瓶場事先言明..未來若裝瓶銷售時不能將格蘭花酒場的名字印在標籤上.只能以地名.或是另一個名字[一時忘了該名.但是那名字和格蘭花酒場的地址連結性很高}..
這樣做..是酒廠為了區別.ob跟獨立裝瓶場之間的獨立性..或者我們也可以說.格蘭花家族對於自家商品的品牌維護較為嚴謹..
我的解釋是憑記憶中的印象..如果有不完整.或是失真..請其他大大.再修正我的解釋...

我再補充一下..
我發覺..關于.格蘭花酒廠的獨立裝瓶廠商品酒名在不同的裝瓶廠中.可能出現不同的名字.
例如..黑蛇..裝瓶廠.就用BLAIRFINDY...........
ADELPHI這一家更有趣..直接標上 THE WHISKY THAT CAN NOT BE NAMED{意思是不能標示]..
MILROY'S OF SOHO這一家莊瓶廠.則給他取了一個很容易辨認的名字TOMFARCLAS....
至於THE WHISKY FAIR 則幾乎都標示SPEYSIDE MALT..
以上..如果我的說明有不夠完整的..請其他大大再做補充..

Glenfarclas是唯一會去告裝瓶廠的酒廠, 因為他們認為那是他們的商標權. 聽說從來沒告贏過就是了, 但是大家都在這個業界, 沒必要傷了和氣, 裝瓶廠也需要從原廠拿酒, 於是久而久之就變成這樣. 所以如果裝瓶廠的酒有出現Glenfarclas反而是少見的.
在Limburg的Whiskyfair是全球威士忌玩家最期待的盛會, 我參加過兩次, 下個週末就是今年舉辦的時間, 還是打算去晃晃. 這個展覽與WhiksyLive完全不同, Whiskyfair以老酒與珍藏酒為主, 全部標價品飲. WhiskyLive則是以原廠為主, 重點酒廠的解說.
剛開始的時候這個標籤裝瓶的酒是酒展專賣, 後來主辦單位成立裝瓶公司, 選酒相當不錯.

忘了說, 我在Maniac都是用本名, 所以裡面HO-CHENG就是我的紀錄.
由於是我的年份酒, 那時候買了兩箱, 相當強悍的重雪莉.
有點訝異小黃兄在找這支酒, 很高興識貨的人很多! 這支酒除了我之外記得David大哥應該也有買. 也許David大哥會有興趣出手.

因為我蠻喜歡重雪莉了老酒,像Blackadder的 Blairfindy 35年,就是格蘭花格的酒.為此找了很久才發現The Whisky Fair 的A Speyside Single Malt 1966,1970,1971及Tullibardine 1976 54,1% dark Sherry這幾瓶重雪莉,不過找了很久都沒看過,而我英文又不夠好,無法自行訂購.如果有其他同好要訂購,煩請幫我一同訂購.謝謝!
