This Macallan 30 years old 'Masters of photography' Rankin edition represents two great art forms - whisky making and photography. Macallan, often referred to as the Rolls Royce of malts, and Rankin, Scotland's pre- eminent photographer of his generation, have combined to produce a stunning special release whisky.
The photographs have all been taken by Polaroid, possibly the last ever with photography now having moved on to the digital age. Each bottle and presentation case has a matching and original photograph taken from around the Macallan estate in 2008. Only a 1000 such bottles and photographs have been produced.
The bottles have been filled at 43%abv.
