Sherry Oak is here to stay at the Macallan.
Yesterday we were chatting with some of our followers on our @The_Macallan twitter feed and it was brought to our attention that there was a rumour circulating that there would not be any new Macallan Sherry oak bottlings of 18 years and over.
We just wanted to take the opportunity to set the record straight. We know how much the Sherry Oak range means to our fans all over the world.
The Macallan’s iconic reputation amongst lovers of single malt is founded upon the practise of selecting the finest oak casks. Maturation in Sherry seasoned casks remains at the heart of The Macallan and the vast majority of The Macallan is and will remain exclusively matured in Sherry seasoned casks.
As one would expect, as one moves up the ages from 18 years old, to 25 and 30 years old stocks become increasingly rare. However, these expressions are proudly carried by the finest hotels, bars and off-trade specialists across the globe.
The Macallan has stocks of these older ages, both now and for years to come and will continue to predominantly fill into Sherry seasoned casks.
So there you have it, there is no need to worry. Macallan Sherry Oak is here to stay. Why not treat yourself and pick up a bottle to share with someone special?

我本來也不懂英文,自從喝威士忌讀酒標,讀到稍微看得懂TIME.
平常也不會講英文,但是喝醉的時候就會講了,而且可以講得很深奧,讓老外也聽不懂
