百年老酒

SAMALENS Armagnac(賽馬天堂鳥雅馬邑酒廠)創於1882年這瓶酒是它的首釀,
初期雖然數量不少,但是這批酒不幸於二次大戰時慘遭戰火吞食,戰後重建時,儘剩下一個橡木桶倖免於難,並將其中未漏光的酒分裝成五瓶珍藏於酒廠,1993年時全世界也僅存原廠和這瓶共2瓶而已

1993年時全世界也僅存原廠和這瓶共2瓶而已....果真如此快跟原酒廠聯絡狠狠敲他1筆.....會賺比較多..

Origin:
Bas Armagnac going back to one century, distilled with the method Armagnacaise, one of very rare the witness of the last century which, point out it, knew neither electricity neither running water, nor tractor, at least in Armagnac. This Low Armagnac was put under glass in 1957.

Degree of alcohol: 42%

Distillation:
With continuous jet stills of poor yield built at last century.

Ageing: In parts of oak of the country of Armagnac, during approximately 70 years.

Wrap: Deep ruby

Nose: Powerful, concentrate with a true explosion of the perfumes. One would say extract of all qualities and varieties of perfumes of the various Armagnacs. Dominant prune and liquorice.

Palate: An explosion of powerful and accentuated tastes, persistent final liquorice. Liqueur-like also and superb taste “tail of peacock”, i.e., after ingestion, a return in mouth a concentrate, of all the tastes of brandy and which are maintained there a long time.

Conclusion:
Extraordinary Low Armagnac, to reserve only to the experts, so much its qualities of another time can surprise the neophytes. Its Baccarat crystal bottle cut to the hand in fact already a supreme luxury article. Its diffusion, limited strictly to 100 specimens, makes definitively this brandy single

Origin :
Wines from the BAS ARMAGNAC region selected from the area traditionally named as GRAND BAS ARMAGNAC.

Alcoholic content : 42 %

Maturing and age :
In 400 litre casks made of the Black Gascony oak. In order to preserve its perfect balance this Bas Armagnac was transfered into glass containers only in 1957. The youngest Bas Armagnac in this blend is at least 100 years old.

Distillation method :
With the stills at continuous but slow output built in the last century.

Color : Very brown with ruby reflections.

Scent : Plummy, liquorice, cocoa, all perfectly melted together despite of the strength emitted from this eau-de-vie. ‘Rancio' of an astonishing complicity.

Palate :
First of all the impression of voluptuousness, then the multitudious explosion of perfumes opening out on the palate. A remarkable complexity : liquorice,vanilla, the smell of woods and many more. After having swallowed it, the taste disappears completely only to return to the mouth very strongly from the pharynx : It is said that this Armagnac is like ‘peacock's tail opening'

Conclusion :
A truly exceptional eau-de-vie, more like the extract of a Bas Armagnac. All its qualities are concentrated, intensified. This is one of the rare witnesses of a completed era during which the necessary balance between man and nature found its realisation in this extraordinary eau-de-vie.
